Life can feel overwhelming at times, and finding the words to describe that weight isn’t always easy. In a world that often feels uncertain, you may be holding something quietly on your own, or perhaps an unexpected change has left you feeling unsettled and unsure of where to turn. Reaching out for support is a brave and meaningful first step. Even if it feels unfamiliar, it is often the place where healing, clarity, and deeper understanding begin.
I am an Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist registered with the BACP, working with adults and young people aged 16+. My approach draws on a range of therapeutic skills developed through experience in both clinical and private mental health settings.
I offer a safe, compassionate space grounded in relational depth, where therapy becomes a collaborative journey. Together, we can explore what has brought you here, moving at a pace that feels right for you and shaped by your individual needs.
With a psychodynamic perspective, I recognise that our early experiences can create a blueprint for how we relate to the world. They shape how we think, feel, connect with others, and respond to everyday life. By approaching these influences with curiosity and care, we can begin to understand patterns that may be emerging in the present, both consciously and unconsciously.
Within a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship, we take time to notice these patterns, deepen awareness, and explore new ways of responding. As understanding grows, space begins to open for healing, self-awareness, and meaningful change. Step by step, this process can help you feel more grounded, confident, and clear about yourself and your choices supporting you to move forward with greater resilience, compassion and self-trust.
Session structure
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and held weekly or fortnightly. I offer both short-term (8 weeks) and long-term therapy (8 weeks+), the duration of therapy will depend on your goals and requirements.
Our first session, I will conduct an initial assessment to help guide the focus of your therapy, here we will get to know each other, discuss what’s important to you and set your aims of therapy.
