DR KATE DAVIS

PSYCHOTHERAPY
Hello my name is Kate and I am a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in work with people on the Autism Spectrum.

I am trained to assess and diagnose autistic spectrum disorders and am particularly interested in working with individuals to understand their unique profile so that I can help them manage the challenges they face. I have considerable experience of working with girls and women with autism as they are often missed, misdiagnosed and misunderstood. As well as diagnostic assessment, much of my work involves working with individuals with mental health difficulties which often result from being misunderstood. These include anxiety, depression, self harm, OCD and behaviours which others may find challenging.

I offer therapy to individuals, couples and families. My work often involves liaising with schools, employers and other systems. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your needs or if you require further information. I always offer a free initial telephone consultation.
